Along with my colleagues Teri Kirby, Michelle Ryan, and Antonia Sudkaemper at the University of Exeter, I am currently conducting a meta-analysis on the Glass Cliff. As part of this, we are looking for unpublished papers and data.
To fit our inclusion criteria, papers should report the relationship between organisational performance (broadly defined; e.g. declining stock performance, media scandals, declining popularity) and the evaluation or selection of minority members for leadership positions. This includes but is not limited to women, ethnic minorities, members of the LGTBQ+ community and those living with a disability. We are including experimental as well as correlational evidence (including archival studies) from all contexts such as management, politics, science, education, or sports.
